Asset Map of West Fresno Project
FWCED was awarded grant funds for the Asset Map of West Fresno by The California Endowment. In collaboration with the City of Fresno, FWCED's objective for the Asset Map of West Fresno is to compile all relevant assets of the 93706 zip code. With input from West Fresno residents, research from this project will be used to present economic and community development proposals for the West Fresno area to public and private agencies.
California Ave Master Plan
West Fresno is full of optimism as the community continues to grow. Major housing and economic development is on the horizon. The California Avenue Master Plan Process is a key opportunity for stakeholders to participate in shaping their community for a brighter future.
The Housing Authorities of the City & County of Fresno, Fresno West Coalition for Economic Development, Design Community & Environment and Strategic Energy Innovations are working together in this process, which is an extension of the successful West Fresno Vision Plan adopted by the City of Fresno in 2004, and invite you to look take part in strengthening this community.
